We are excited to have Dr Luke Smith who is a clinical neuropsychologist from Monash University share his knowledge for mindfulness with you. He is a tutor and mentor in mindfulness-based electives at Monash University, and has provided mindfulness training for a range of different organisations. Luke is also a passionate and hands-on dad, and is experienced in teaching and using mindful parenting techniques.
As the go to organisation for the community, PCA Families delivers individual support and peer support services to permanent care, kinship care and adoptive families, informed by lived experience and research.

Permanent care, kinship care and adoptive families are an often hidden and under-supported group. They care for some of the most vulnerable children in our community. We often hear from parents and carers that raising children from permanent care, kinship care and adoption backgrounds is rewarding, but that many families also experience a range of challenges. Families deserve to have their voices heard by those who make decisions on behalf of children.
